Brodeur Close To Breaking Record
Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils, considered to be the best goalie ever, is close to breaking the record for most shutouts by a goalie. He has led the Devils to a record of 23-8-1 this season (the Devils are 2nd in their division, 4th in the eastern conference, and 3rd in the whole league). Currently, he is tied with goalie Terry Sawchuk with 103 shutouts. Brodeur has a chance to break the record tonight as the Devils host the Ottawa Senators. The Devils are coming in to tonights game winning their last 2 games, and the Senators are coming in winning their last game.
